In a coastal flood zone the generator has to sit above the base flood elevation. We anchored an aluminum stand on a concrete pad next to the pool equipment, lifted the unit on top and ran the gas and electrical connections underneath.

The challenge
Coastal flood zone: the generator had to be raised above the base flood elevation, in a narrow side yard already used by the pool equipment.
The solution
Anchored aluminum stand on a concrete pad, generator lifted and bolted on top, gas and electrical connections run below the platform, service-rated transfer switch at the meter, inspection passed at the first visit.
