ESTIMATE PLANNER

Plan Your Generator Installation Estimate

Select your property, the loads you want to keep on, your fuel and site conditions. You get a planning summary of what the on-site assessment will confirm and what the installed quote includes. No figure is invented: the price comes in writing after the visit.

STEP 1 OF 6

What type of property is it?

01

Property and loads

The planner asks for the type of property, the number of air-conditioning systems and the equipment you cannot lose during an outage. Those answers drive the size class more than anything else, because the starting current of each A/C compressor is the largest demand a home generator faces.

02

Fuel and placement

Natural gas at the street, an existing propane tank or a new one change the equipment list and the runtime you can expect. Placement depends on setbacks, flood elevation, HOA or ARB rules and access for service. The assessment checks all of them before the quote.

03

Preliminary range and assumptions

We do not publish installed prices online because the transfer switch, gas piping, concrete pad, permits and fuel choice change the total from one street to the next. Every proposal lists its assumptions so you can compare it line by line with any other quote.

04

What is included

A Gen-Power installed quote covers the generator and startup, the automatic transfer switch, licensed electrical work, the gas connection, permits and inspections, warranty registration and Mobile Link activation. Tanks, non-standard pads and landscaping are itemized separately.

05

Confirm with a site assessment

Send the summary with your request or call us. We schedule a visit, measure the panel, verify the fuel and deliver a written proposal with the model, the transfer switch and the price.

LET’S MAKE IT CLEAR

Frequently asked questions about standby generators in Southwest Florida

A clear plan starts with answers you can use.

Ask our team
Why does the planner not show a price?

Because a number without the panel, the fuel and the site would be a guess. The proposal you receive after the visit is a firm installed price with its assumptions written down.

Is the assessment free?

Ask when you request it; the answer depends on the type of property and the distance. The written proposal you receive is yours to compare.
