Information you share with us
The request form on this site asks for your name, phone number, the city where the property is located, the service you are interested in and an optional message. With the form we also record the language you were browsing in, the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your confirmation that Gen-Power may contact you about the request. The form does not ask for your email address, payment details or government identification numbers, and you should not type them into the message box.
- If you call, email or visit the office, we keep the details needed to follow up, such as your contact information, the property address and your generator's model and serial number.
- If you apply for financing, your application goes directly to Synchrony Bank under its own privacy policy. Gen-Power does not collect or store your financial information through this website.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to respond to your request, schedule an on-site assessment, prepare a written estimate, carry out and document the work you hire, and keep the business records that Florida contractor licensing, warranty and tax rules require. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
- Contacting you by phone or email about your request or an active project.
- Sending you text messages about appointments or service status, only if you gave us a mobile number. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to stop receiving texts.
- Sending maintenance reminders to current customers.
- Protecting the site against abuse, for example by filtering automated form submissions.
Who helps us run this website
Your request is stored in the content system behind this website and emailed to the Gen-Power office so the team can call you back. Access to those records is limited to Gen-Power staff with a personal login, the site is served over HTTPS and the form rejects submissions that do not come from this site. The service providers below process information on our behalf and only for these purposes. No system is completely secure, so please keep sensitive details out of the message box.
- Website hosting and database: [CONFIRMAR: proveedores de hosting y base de datos, previstos Vercel y Neon]
- Email delivery of new requests to the office inbox: [CONFIRMAR: proveedor de correo, previsto SendGrid]
- Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider may record your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement
The pages of this website do not set cookies of their own to identify you. Gen-Power uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure the results of its advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools place cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and send usage data, such as pages viewed and the approximate location derived from your IP address, to Google and Meta, which handle it under their own privacy policies.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site, including the request form, keeps working without them.
- Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics, and Meta lets you manage ad preferences from your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
- We do not use this data to identify you by name, and we do not combine it with the information you send through the form.
Third-party content and links
Some elements on this site load from or lead to other companies. The service-area map uses OpenStreetMap tiles, the Better Business Bureau seal loads from BBB's servers, and buttons link to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, X and Synchrony Bank. When your browser loads that content or you follow a link, those companies may receive your IP address and set their own cookies. Their privacy policies, not this one, govern what they do with that information.
How long we keep your information
We keep request records for as long as we need them to answer you and, if you become a customer, for the life of the service relationship plus the period required for warranty, licensing and tax records. Requests that do not become a project are deleted or anonymized after [CONFIRMAR: plazo de retención, por ejemplo 24 meses]. Server logs and analytics data follow the retention periods of the providers named above.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it or stop contacting you for anything other than an active project. Write to office@genpowerco.com or call (239) 674-3569; we will confirm that the request comes from you and respond within [CONFIRMAR: plazo de respuesta, por ejemplo 30 días].
- Deletion may not be possible while a project, warranty or legal obligation requires us to keep the record; we will tell you if that is the case and what we keep.
- This website is intended for adults in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
- Marketing messages, if any, always include a way to opt out, and you can also opt out by calling the office.
